The beds were super comfy, and I appreciated the clean room! 🍂 However, there was no coffee pot in the room, which was a slight bummer.

i almost considered giving a good review, but the filthy top sheet in my room was so offensive! sleeping on top of the covers was awkward, not to mention the bed was a relic from the 60s. i expected a complimentary gesture for my discomfort—guess that’s too much to ask here, huh?

Staying here with my family and two dogs was a treat! Our double room was clean and comfortable. The manager was super friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast had just what we wanted, simple but satisfying. Definitely felt at home!

This was my second stay at Scottish Inns for Potsdam’s Reunion Weekend, and it was delightful! The double room was spacious and impeccably clean, with fresh towels and toiletries supplied daily. The air conditioning was my savior on a hot weekend, and I adored the charm of the place. The breakfast selection was just enough to get us going, featuring coffee, fruits, and pastries that were ready by 7 a.m. The friendly manager even added personal touches, making us feel especially welcome during our stay.

While I enjoyed my stay overall, I did notice that the breakfast could use a bit more variety. Fresh options would enhance the morning experience, as the current offerings felt a bit basic. Also, on the first day, the lobby had an unusual odor upon check-in, but thankfully, the rooms were clean and did not carry the same scent. I did have minor trouble finding dining options within walking distance, which made dinner plans a bit of a drive.

My children wanted a more comfortable seating option in the room.

The room had good air conditioning, a microwave, and a fridge. It was carpeted and included a private bathroom. There was an alarm clock and a desk too. The bed was super comfy with plenty of pillows. Nice touch with heated facilities available. Everything was just clean and neat.

cozy stay but lacking some amenities

The room was cozy and warm, nicely appointed with a queen size bed and a solid desk. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. After it snowed, they promptly shoveled the walkway and brushed off the cars, which was a thoughtful touch. There’s a lovely gazebo and picnic area outside that would be enjoyable in the warmer months.

However, I did find the lack of a gym or fitness center to be a downside.
